We have been able to help many clients out of tricky situations here over the years and this has prompted us to add a "help and advice" section to the website in May 2002. It is simply aimed at offering some sensible and free advice to people contemplating the purchase of property on the island or settling here. Most purchases go through smoothly, but there are some things to look out for which can save you lots of time and maybe lots of money. Remember that Spain is not your home country where you know the 'ins and outs' and it is all too easy to be a little naive when you arrive on this idyllic island.
