A lot of our customers have been with us for many years, but of course we are always eager to attract extra business. Many people are first time buyers on Lanzarote that come to us straight away. We help them through the purchase process, setting up their new venture and then take on the long term care of their property. A lot of our new customers however, already have their property and want a complete change of management and it's interesting to note why. In the majority of cases it is the poor standard of cleaning and preparation of the property that is the reason. Secondly, it is a lack of response to clients' needs, or not being able to contact the management team at all when needed. At Laprima S.L. we feel that this is due to the fact that their management company isn't a management company at all, it's just one person or a couple, so they have illnesses, social lives, holidays and bad days. This also means that there is no-one to really check the work that is done and done properly. We are a full team of people. Although a family business we have employees to cover all the jobs and all the illnesses etc.. Our strength regarding cleaning is that once our maids have prepared the property, it is inspected by a separate pair of eyes. We pride ourselves in the fact that many people, owners and guests alike, remark on our high standards. We are 'always on' for email communication and we have a permanent dedicated fax number. Our call out service really is second to none, you only have to read our customers' comments. We always have one technical employee on call 24\7 and we very rarely take longer than 30 minutes to respond, no matter where on the island the call comes from or at what time of the day or night. Of course this organisation and permanent staff on call, costs more to set up and maintain and so costs will be slightly higher. The value that the owner gets in terms of customer satisfaction and return bookings, reflects that little extra and makes it well worth while. We feel that owners that let out their properties, need to consider that agencies and paying guests are becoming more and more demanding and letting is becoming more and more competitive. To deal with this owners must take a responsible attitude towards the provision of care for their holidaymakers, putting quality and reliability above saving a few euros. We currently have 44 properties in our care and our owners all agree with this philosophy. |
