Major makeover of two bathrooms in our letting apartment.

This apartment is owned by Laprima S.L..This is how the main bathroom looked before work started on 15-04-2005. The apartment is typical of Oasis San Antonio in Puerto del Carmen Lanzarote and has a main bathroom plus a separate toilet room consisting of toilet and wash hand basin. Access to both of these rooms is from the passageway that leads to the bedrooms. The project is to completley renovate the bathrom, but also to move the door of the toilet room into the bedroom, making it en-suite and adding a shower.

On the left is the door to the toilet room, seen from the passageway. This is to be removed.
On the right, the same door from the inside, ready to be removed, and photographed from through the opening of it's new location in the bedroom.

This is once the door is removed, looking through the toilet room towards the opening for it's new location in the bedroom.
On the right, the opening in the bedroom, where the door is to be moved to.
You can see the floors have been completely broken up and removed for complete re-plumbing.

New plumbing. It's absolutely essential to fit all new pipes if you're renewing a bathroom or kitchen, we won't do this kind of work otherwise. All our new plumbing is pressure tested at twice the normal operating pressure before the new floors are laid.

Here the surround for the new location of the bath in the bathroom is complete and the first of the new tiles are on.

On the left, the floor is now tiled and on the right all of the tiles except for the bottom row are fitted.

The bath is now tiled and ready for taps etc, and the floor in the bedroom is tiled.

Now only waiting for the new shower screens, sinks and finishing touches.

This is the finished bathroom job, clean pristine and ready for the next lucky guests.

And this is the new en-suite shower room that we created.
